2D Design Exercises

Semester1 (FID) March Intake

Basically the exercises that I've completed since March.

A little something about me

Cats

So, why cats?

I've always in loved with cats, I even had 2 cats. One is a female named Smoky, Another one is a male named Snowy.

It's unfortunate because I lost their photos hence I'm unable to upload them.

A brief  history

They're from my mom's hometown. Seremban

They first arrived my house when they're only 2 weeks old, we fed them with love and joy, they may be mischievous but I still love them nevertheless.

Snowy- He loves to eat and nap and doesn't move around a lot, he's is afraid of Smoky, his elder sister. (Yeap, they are from the same mother.)

Smoky- She is very active, loves to play, doesn't eat much, her food was often eaten by Snowy(kind sister), she broke a vase before.

Snowshoe paw cat

This is one of the cat breeds that I fancy, I love how fluffy they are. Meanwhile my cat is a Siamese cat, she has beautiful blue eyes.

TragedIES

What happened?

Who left first? Snowy.

He left us when he's only 1 years old, we don't know the reason. But he left our home and went somewhere else, he never came back ever since. I only pray that he's still out there doing alright.

What about Smoky? She had an incurable disease, or you could say Cat's cancer, It's called FIV (Feline immunodeficiency virus). What we did was to give her vaccines to prolong her lifespan(Vet said 6months but she died from suffocation). Spent tons to try and heal her. But there wasn't a single miracle. She left us last year, 2017, we cremated her.

But they left me

There was not much I can do

I still love cats

Heartbroken yet still a cat lover

You may have thought of you might struggle if you have to witness your pets dying one day, but if we think optimistically, their deaths are to make us become stronger.

We can't turn back time, we always neglect how simple yet important appreciation is.

Pets may have a shorter lifespan, but their deaths taught me to love the ones that are still by my side.

Sure, I've had sleepless nights, but that was the past, I still miss them, one of my regrets was neglecting Snowy, I was biased towards Smoky. It will haunt me forever making me feel guilty.
